Mulberry's Newest Artist….Melissa Payne Baker

Sometimes you just can't help yourself! You get so excited about something that you want to shout it from the rooftops! You want everyone else to be as excited as you are! This is  most definitely one of those times! I'm super excited about our newest artist joining Mulberry Heights Antiques!

Melissa Payne Baker

Just look at her beautiful hand-painted wine glasses!
She paints these for Saks and is also bringing them with her to our Open House! How fun is that?

Have you ever?
I mean seriously….she was voted #1 Artist in Atlanta in 2011 and 2012 with Jezebel Magazine.

You can get the feel of just how great Melissa's art is just by these press releases. I mean, seriously….she has had her work in the High Museum of Art!
What I really loved was the "Blonde Bombshell" articles! Being a blonde myself! ( can we say…living vicariously?)

I am more than honored and pleased to announce that she is officially joining our team today!

She is also our featured artist for this year's Open House on October 18th! And I'm sure you can see why when you look at her fabulous paintings!

Take a look at this bio of Melissa….I have a feeling you will fall head over heels in love with her work…just like we did!
After all was said and done and Melissa I talked several times and emailed more than that, we discovered that we are both from the same small area in Memphis….and our parents went to the same High School! What a small, small world!! I have a feeling this will be a great fit for us! And I've definitely made a sweet friend!

We sure would love to have you as our guest at the Open House! We always have the best time! We will have three fabulous artists along with my friends that created Old Clutch that I told you about  a while back. You can see that HERE.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend! We may have our third artist's work in sometime next week as well so I will definitely keep you posted!
