Southern Strokes Art Show 2014

It's always a lot of fun when we have our art shows or our jewelry shows. Yes, it's a lot of work and it takes a lot of time and effort for the artists to come…but in the end it always pays off!

One of the highlights is seeing Alison Kynerd Thomas' beautiful floral creations as well!
What a treat and they certainly add so much beauty to the shop!

Lauren brought 6 new paintings and 3 small paintings.
They are all wonderful and we are thrilled to have them in the shop now!

Today I will be working on getting them on our website along with all of Melissa's paintings!

The two small church's have sold already but the hydrangeas are available!

This painting above is a commission piece so it is no longer in the shop but there is another one that is similar if you are interested.

Alison's flowers were scattered throughout adding fun touches of color to otherwise bland spaces!

We are loving all of the wonderful colors in the abstracts that Melissa brought yesterday!

We are especially loving her framed pieces. This is new for her and we think it is a fabulous touch!

Just look at these two gorgeous framed florals of Melissa's! Stunning!

The beautiful sunflowers were a sweet gift from Melissa!

She re-stocked us on her lovely hand painted wine glasses as well! Wouldn't they be great on anyone's Easter Table?

As you can see, it was a big day! Lots of art, lots of beautiful flowers, lots of yummy food which I didn't photograph and we even got in a new shipment of Vignettes for our Sennod jewelry line! Just in time to showcase it along with the art! There are some fabulous pieces here!

Love the vintage disc as well as the vintage locket!

All of the stones that came are breathtaking!

This fun piece sold immediately…I knew it would!

Michele's faberge eggs are always a huge hit!

So, as you can see…yesterday was a big day at Mulberry Heights Antiques! Let us know if you see something you just can't live without! We ship all the time and are happy to do so! Hope you have a wonderful weekend! I am looking forward to it for sure! Time to rest up for the next big event!

  2. Wow, those paintings are beautiful! How exciting for you that you get to see all these lovely things on a regular basis. Enjoy your weekend! We are actually getting some warmer temperatures this weekend - 50's and 60's! Not perfect, but hey, I'll take it over snow any day!
