Wow~after wishing and wanting Miss Alabama to win the coveted Miss America Crown…I was stunned by the performance of Miss New York….she literally tap danced her way into my heart and obviously many of the judges hearts as well! And good for her! I for one, as a dancer would kill to be able to dance a tap routine to ANY of James Brown's songs! You Go Girl!
I would bet a million dollars that James Brown would LOVE this!
Sure wish we could still have his incredible sushi rolls that were named after him at our favorite restaurant here! No matter…
GET UP OFF THAT FLOOR…AND DANCE!
Hope all of you will join me this next year in getting up and "Dancing"…no matter what that may mean to you! It means getting up and moving and exercising to me! It means feeling young again and believing in what we started!
So proud of our own Miss Alabama! She did quite well and her mom was an acquaintance of mine at Samford University.
I am told that this new Miss America is from the most wonderful city on the plains….is it true?
Our own Miss America…is from right down the road…at my youngest's son's college home town of Auburn, Alabama?
Really?
No matter…just let me know you care…and that you are all convinced that we need "To Get Up Off That Thing!" And Dance!
Let's commit to a healthier lifestyle and a wonderful 2013!
Congratulations Miss New York!!!
Much love,
Nicely said Carolyn! Just get up and dance!

Never too old to dance...you have me craving sushi rolls at 7am, not good:)
ReplyDeleteHope you have a wonderful Sunday......
Any kind of movement is healthy for you and while I have two left feet I still like to move. I'm with Tina I want those sushi rolls even early in the morning.
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday Carolyn!

I started taking zumba classes and now am addicted. I go with a good friend and we are each others cheerleaders. I think you are never too old to partake in some kind of physical activity.
ReplyDeleteSaw the show last night but we were very disappointed in it, they just seem to lack the polish and sophistication of the ones I remmeber 20 or so years ago.
I have already started walking again! Easy to get in a rut.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Miss Alabama and to the winner! I Love the Miss America program.
Happy Sunday.
