A very long time ago I did a post on Grey "Is It The New Black?"
I really didn't know it at the time but it seems to have gotten a lot of hits because every time I check my stats I see that it has..and yes, I hate to admit that I really do check that! For crying out loud I always need a goal in my life and right now Mulberry's blog is at 99 followers…

I immediately thought of that post when I got the call to come see my niece's new bedroom color. She had told me it was a shade of gray….which brought to mind a lot of these images….
Sounds like the name of a song to me…you know it does!
So even though I was picking out pumpkins and enjoying this gorgeous fall like day, I was so flattered that she would call to see if I could come see her new paint color and help decide about furniture placement, etc.. that I ran right over and boy was I immediately in love with Chelsea Gray!
She's not quite finished yet but this is certainly an excellent start! I'm hoping she will turn out to be an interior designer or at least come work at my shop! She has great taste and is beautiful inside and out! I will admit it was a little sad to not see the pink walls anymore but she is growing up! I can't believe she's almost 17! Hannah, you did a great job! Here are a few other ways Chelsea Gray can be used…it's a very versatile color!
Hope you have a wonderful Tuesday!

I love the kitchen cabinetry in that color. I also like it as the accent wall in the kitchen. I think all of the white in the kitchen helps to balance out the darker gray. Have a great day! - Tonya
ReplyDeleteLove her bed, Carolyn!! I will check out this paint color as I'm a big fan of anything gray. Will you show us Hannah's bedroom again when it is finished? :)

I just bought some gray paint, hoping to get in on a couple pieces soon, if I would get off the computer! I check my stats all the time too- your not alone!
ReplyDeleteI painted my tiny office nook a pale gray and really love it. That bedroom is coming along beautifully.
