And they came...two by two

I've always known why God filled the Ark two by two....we all seem to love "pairs"! Pairs of chests, pairs of chairs, pairs of side tables or end tables or bedside tables!!! In fact...most of us like to travel in pairs! I know I do! I like to be with my better half no matter where I go! I guess that's why when I find an incredible pair of anything....I want to share it with you! I think pairs make life seem cohesive and in order...and I like my life in order....even though a little reckless abandon never hurts either!!!

We just recently brought several new items back from a recent buying trip and of course my favorite thing that we brought with us is a wonderful pair of 19th C whitewashed pine chests...they are fabulous!!! We will have them on the website very soon but I thought you might like a "sneak preview" so to speak!

Check out our website as well.  We actually have a wonderful pair of *Bergere Chairs in at the moment....a pair of fabulous consoles just left to be in the Birmingham Home and Garden's Inspiration Home and now this...this fabulous pair of chests that I'm having a hard time unloading at the shop and not unloading them for myself at home....Oh well....At least I have my better half at home with me....he is much better than a piece of furniture I can assure you! And he is a really fun shopping partner as well! As much as he doesn't like it! He is a very good sport! I know why God made us a pair, that's for sure!!!!
Keep watching for this fabulous pair of chests to be in their "rightful" location in our shop's window or a prominent spot in the shop....they will look wonderful, I promise! However...there's nothing quite like seeing something right when it get's "off the water" in the container either! Fun, Fun, Fun!!!!

See you soon....with more design inspirations from the Inspiration Home or simply from our latest inventory....you just never know what a day might bring!!!

*A bergère is an enclosed upholstered French armchair (fauteuil)[2] with an upholstered back and armrests on upholstered frames.[3] The seat frame is over-upholstered, but the rest of the wooden framing is exposed: it may be moulded or carved, and of beech painted or gilded or of fruitwood, walnut or mahogany with a waxed finish. Padded elbowrests may stand upon the armrests. A bergère is fitted with a loose, but tailored, seat cushion. It is designed for lounging in comfort, with a deeper wider seat than that of a regular fauteuil
