Lets Just Talk Trestle Tables

Just had to share this beautiful picture of the trestle table in Under Spanish Moss' blog...it is so similar to the one that we just got in....take a look!!

Imagine it at Thanksgiving or Christmas surrounded by people you love! The memories that were made at either of these tables would be incredible! I sort of wish they could each tell their own tale of past conversations that were held...no telling what we might learn!

There are so many wonderful ways to use a trestle table.....

You might just think of something out of the ordinary for yours! I would love to have this trestle table in my own bathroom!! What a great idea!

No matter how you decide to use yours....you will never be sorry that you made such a wise investment in something truly unique and beautiful!

Let us know if you have any thoughts or ways to incorporate a trestle table into your own personal home!
We would love to hear from you!

Well Hello Gorgeous

To say we have been busy is a total understatement!

Each day we seem to be putting new items onto our floor. Its gotten to the point where I think I need to keep an inhaler at work because each piece takes my breath away!

I can't stand it anymore- we just have to show you the latest and greatest!

Umm, hello!  Are these lanterns not to die for? Burlap canvas wrapped over an iron frame.  Just image the possibilities.
I hate the iphone camera doesn't do our Mercury Ware justice, but trust me the light reflects of these perfectly.  I'm even crushing on these new pillows!

We are so excited this piece finally got here! This piece was made by a local friend of our shop, Lucy Smith, and is going to look perfect in your foyer! :)

Again, sad iPhone photo but oh heavens this chandelier is incredible in real life! Wrought Iron fixture with Alabaster lights.  This fixture can hang much lower than our shop can allow, but I cannot wait to see the table this is paired with!

Our shop has gotten quite a few new iron lamps- these just happen to be my favorite!  I think they highlight our large Emyo painting quit nicely!

Ok, so they deserve a close up!

Two days ago when this arrived in our back alley, I wanted to have the men put it straight in my car! I love the iron and wood blend.  This piece is such a perfect size- it could go in almost any space!

Just look at that wood! Also notice our glass buoys. I think I've got them as filler in almost every vignette - such a fun change from the classic moss balls!

I saved the best for last- my desk! Ha, but really see my computer- I've taken over!

I can't decide what I love more about this table- the unexpected zinc top or the shape of the iron legs!

Brighten The Day

Its time we get to know each other better.

My shameful little secret is that I'm a sucker for, its aged wood or iron lamps. Mark my word in forty years, I'll be the old lady who lives in her iron lamp- sounds like a winning blog to me, huh?

So when we got our delivery from FedEx today and I saw these gorgeous wall sconces, it was all I could do to keep from running them out to my car!

The rich carved wood just looks incredible when the light washes down in a dark room! We're not even gonna talk about the detail of the iron rod and the linen shade.

Just imagine what they could do to a grand foyer or flanking the sides of your favorite Emyo... The long wood boards would add so much drama that you could be certain that these pieces would make quite the statement!
