... the sky started to fall in the Village today?
For our friends not in Mountain Brook, at 11:53 this afternoon, the sky opened up and the flood gates feel onto the Brook. (I know this because at that exact moment the Pimento Cheese BLT down at Gilchrist started calling my name.) I digress.
Today in the shop weak with hunger and trapped by the rain, we began to pull two of our favorite tables to center stage, and we just have to share them with you.
This oak, gate-legged table paired with an old world, country French bench could not be more inviting. Even as I type, I'm wondering why I'm not resting on those pillows...
Ok, truth? I just love the gorgeous knotty legs of this table so much that I had to show them from another angle! Plus, I know I am bias, but I think our dough bowls are to die for!
Isn't the detail on this table wonderful! This piece is just waiting to find a place in the perfect entry way or dressing room. Maybe you can help find it a home!
What a gorgeous store!! I would love to get "trapped" in such a beautifu spot on a dreary rainy day, like what we are having right this very minute!
